Looking to add a little movement, laughter, and social connection to your week? Then don’t miss the U3A Term 3 Bocce Class, starting Monday 20th July 2026. This six-week program is designed to get you moving, thinking, and connecting—all while having a great time!

What to Expect
This isn’t the “old-fashioned bocce” you might remember. The U3A Bocce Program, developed by the Veneto Club, is full of variety and movement, with new games and team activities each week. You’ll steadily build your bowling skills, improve hand-eye coordination, and enjoy gentle exercise in a supportive, inclusive environment.
Whether you’re new to bocce or looking to sharpen your skills, the program is suitable for all genders and all abilities. Each week, teams are reshuffled, so you’ll meet and play with different people, making it a great way to expand your social circle while having a ball—literally!
All equipment is provided, and the games are designed to be progressive, meaning you’ll learn as you go, regardless of your starting level.
Feedback from our Term 1 participants was overwhelmingly positive—lots of smiles, great stories, and some pretty fancy bowling moves.
Why the Veneto Club?
- Undercover bocce courts – perfect in any weather
- Free parking
- On-site bistro – stay after the game for coffee, cake, or even lunch
